Where did you qualify?
PRES is your standard route. An internship certificate the Council accepts as equivalent to the Irish internship, or a higher qualification, may open a shorter route.
Doctors with an EU or EEA medical qualification have their own route to registration – check the Medical Council's page for EU/EEA graduates.
PLAB Part 2 from the UK exempts you from PRES entirely; PLAB 1, USMLE, MCCQE Part 1 or the AMC MCQ can replace PRES Level 2.

IELTS Online, IELTS Indicator and OET@Home are not accepted. The result must come from one sitting within the last two years.
