Work as a doctor in the UAE

The UAE has three licensing authorities – DHA in Dubai, DOH in Abu Dhabi and MOHAP for the northern emirates – but all of them apply the same Unified Healthcare Professional Qualification Requirements. As a general practitioner you need a medical degree, a one-year internship and two years of clinical experience (without an internship, two more years). You prove it with a primary source verification and a licensing exam, then an employer activates your licence.
